The citrus d-limonene version (label remover spray, 200g/L VOC) is what most retail buyers want — safe on paint, low odour, leaves a faint orange smell that fades in an hour. Solvent versions (isoparaffin or acetone-based, 500g/L VOC) cut faster but will swell rubber door seals temporarily and shouldn't be used on fresh automotive paint. We typically recommend the citrus version as the default and keep the solvent version for industrial buyers with hard surfaces: clean factory glass, unpainted steel, certain plastics.
